SALARY RANGE: $25.57 to $35.80
Description:
This is a sworn, safety-sensitive position, exercising a high degree of discretion, trust, and confidence, performing skilled police work. The duties involve police patrol, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, related law enforcement activities, and a wide variety of community services. Police Officers work in partnership with the community to identify and resolve issues of concern, provide public safety, service to the community in emergencies, and maintain peace, safety, and order. Police Officers must exercise considerable judgment, initiative, and skill in a variety of situations and must be able to act without direct supervision in completing work. Duties are carried out under established organizational values, policies, procedures, and the laws of the Town, the State of Colorado, and the United States of America.
