Historic Building Coloring Contest - A Historic Advisory Board Initiative for Preservation Month

The second coloring contest will be held this Spring.  Board members will be presenting history and coloring pages at local elementary schools.  Homeschool students are welcome to participate as well.

Thank you to all the students who participated in our first Historic Bank Building Coloring Contest during Preservation Month! Our young artists did a great job bringing our 1907 bank building to life with color.

All submitted artwork was displayed at the Elizabeth Library from May 27 - June 6, 2025. Community members voted for their favorites during regular library hours.

Winners were recognized at the Friday Night Market on June 13, 2025.

  • Kallie McCaslin – 3rd Grade
  • Gentry Rhoades – 2nd Grade
  • Maevery Weber – 1st Grade
  • Parker Heidbreder – Kindergarten

Check out all the creative entries on our Historic Advisory Board website: https://historicelizabethco.org/coloringcontest
