The 2023 Historic Walk and Talk was held Saturday, September 30, on a beautiful, warm fall day. The start and finish of the walk at the Gesin Lot and tent for lunch, served as a great place meet other walkers and hear more about the history of our Town. The Elbert County Museum joined us with more historic facts and a local author signing event. We were delighted to have about 90 people attend.
About 100 people joined the Historic Walk and Talk on 9/24/2022. Jeff Lehman provided an informative tour along Main Street covering the early days in Elizabeth. Several business owners also talked about the history of their building. We appreciate all those that helped make this 8th annual event a successful one. Thank you to American Legion Post 82 for providing lunch and Small Town Mini Donuts for donating 15 dozen donuts. This would not be possible without volunteers on our Historic Advisory Board.
