Fiber Optic Project

Fiber Optic Project. 

The Town of Elizabeth is working with Maverix to install fiber optic cable to the Town’s facilities – Town Hall, Public Works, Police, and other facilities.  This will allow high-speed internet to Town facilities, as well as redundancy to the system.  Of equal importance, the installation of basic fiber conduit and raceways within the Town will allow additional access to fiber for residents and businesses.  Finally, upon completion, there will be public WI-FI hotspot access to the internet at Running Creek Park and along Main Street.  The completion date for this project is still being determined.
