The Town of Elizabeth has been working with the Board of Trustees, the Main Street Board, and Main Street merchants to update the Main Street corridor. This is a project that began in 2009 with the Town’s Community Revitalization Partnership Report and the 2015 Downtown Strategic Plan. The Town is currently in the process of finalizing the development plans for the street, sidewalk, and amenity zones on Main Street. With the financial assistance of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), the improvements will begin this Summer with completion in the Spring of 2025.
Main Street Streetscape Project now accepting Bids
The Town of Elizabeth will receive sealed Bids for the Main Street Streetscape Project at Elizabeth Town Hall, 151 S. Banner Street, Elizabeth, Colorado until 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time, July 10, 2024. At such time, bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. A description of the work to be performed is – removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, sidewalk, and a portion of the existing concrete pavement; installation of storm drain pipe, inlets, and manholes; construction of intersection bulb-outs and floating concrete curb extensions; and installation of landscaping, irrigation, and streetlighting infrastructure.
All questions must be submitted by 12:00pm Mountain Time on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024. Addendums for revisions or clarifications will be issued no later than 12:00pm Mountain Time on July 9th, 2024.
