Town of Elizabeth is having a Backyard BBQ Tasting Experience

Fire up your appetite and mark your calendars — the Town of Elizabeth's Backyard BBQ Tasting Experience is coming to Running Creek Park! As part of our community's celebration of America's 250th birthday and Colorado's 150th anniversary, we're bringing neighbors together for an afternoon of smoky flavors, hometown pride, and great food.
The Tasting Experience
We've brought together some of the best BBQ trucks and companies in the region to serve up sample-size bites for the whole community to enjoy:
- Carriage Grille
- Smoken Byrdz
- Big Red BBQ
- Smoked-N-Loaded BBQ
- Barbed Wire Reef BBQ
A $10 ticket is required for entry and includes 5 sampling tickets, good for tastings at each vendor station above — it's the perfect way to try a little bit of everything. Children under 5 enter free.
Still hungry? Vendors will also have full plates and menu items available for purchase, so you can go back for more of your favorites. Dessert food trucks will also be on-site selling sweet treats (not included in the sampling round).
Beyond the BBQ
When you're not sampling, enjoy live music, old-timey kids' games, and a beer and spirits area.
