Mobile vaccination bus in Elizabeth this Sunday October 17

A mobile vaccination bus will be at the Elizabeth Walmart this Sunday, October 17 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Vaccinators will offer Pfizer (in limited quantities), J&J, and Moderna vaccine. Flu shots will also be available. No insurance is required. No identification is required. Vaccines are 100% free of cost. An appointment is not required, although you can schedule one at https://elizabeth-1017-cdphe-mvu10.youcanbook.me/ .

When you arrive at your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a short paper form with a few health questions before receiving your vaccination. Your vaccination will take place at one of the six vaccination stations inside the bus. After receiving your vaccine, you will receive a vaccination record card. This is an important document to keep for your records as it informs you of your 2nd vaccination time and date if you receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. You will then be asked to park or sit and wait in a designated area for the mandatory 15 minute observation period. If you are not feeling well during this observation period, an on-site health professional will assist you. Please remember to stay hydrated before and after your vaccination. Please eat before your vaccination or bring a snack with you. Also, feel free to bring a friend or family member with you for support if needed.

If you have additonal questions call the Elbert County Health Department 303-621-3202.
