Historic Main Street 5K and Family Color Run

What a perfect day for a 5K!   Thank you to all who participated in this event on Main Street.   It was an awesome turnout with over 200 entries!   We appreciate all the runners and families who came to enjoy the 5K, color run, pancake breakfast, corn hole, Kona ice, face painting, 360 photos.   All this could not happen without all the volunteers and support from Elizabeth Police, Elizabeth Fire, American Legion Post 82, Elizabeth Brewing Company, EHS Poms, Dads of Elbert County, DAR Running Creek Chapter.   This event was powered by the Main Street Board of Directors.

Join us for this family-friendly event! The 5k run/walk will begin and end on Elizabeth’s historic Main Street while the Family Color Run will take place in Running Creek Park. Be sure to hang out post-race and enjoy the many great local businesses we have along Main Street!

Finisher Awards:  Cash rewards will be given to the top 3 males and females of the 5K race. The first-place finishers will receive $75, second-place finishers will receive $50, and third-place finishers will receive $25.

Event Medical Support:  Medical officials are prepared to treat injuries that may occur during this event, including a medical tent and personnel at the start/finish line area and medical staff on the course.

Parking:  Street parking is free and is available all throughout downtown Elizabeth. Please be aware that parking will not be available along Main Street between the intersections of Banner Street and Spruce Street.
