Public Works would like to remind everyone of the below ordinance regarding snow removal.
Sec 11-1-20 -- Deposit of snow and ice on public roadway
(a) It is unlawful to remove any snow or ice from private property, including but not limited to any parking lot, sidewalk, road or driveway, and deposit or dump the same upon or into a public sidewalk, street, road or highway.
(b) Except for Town employees or Town-designated contractors, it is unlawful to remove any snow or ice from any public property, including but not limited to any parking lot, sidewalk, road, or driveway, and deposit or dump the same upon or into a public sidewalk, street, road or highway.
