Dear Elizabeth, CO, Post Office Box Customer,
The Postal Service has been working with the town of Elizabeth and the Elbert County Assessor’s office to identify customers addresses where we can initiate street delivery. After careful review, we have determined that street delivery will made available at one of two centralized locations: The first at Pine Ridge St and County Road 136, and the other at Washington St and Garland St.
Starting September 15, 2023, customers can visit the Elizabeth Post Office located at 795 E Kiowa Ave, Elizabeth, CO, 80107, to receive the location of the cluster mailbox unit and the keys for their new box. Please bring valid I.D. to the show the Elizabeth Post Office team for identity verification purposes. The Postal Service will start delivery to these cluster mailbox locations on September 30, 2023.
Elizabeth Post Office hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
If you choose this street delivery option, you will need to change your address for all correspondents. If you choose to keep your Post Office Box, then the contents of this letter do not apply.
