Michelle Oeser

On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, the Colorado Municipal Clerks Association (CMCA) awarded Elizabeth's Town Clerk, Michelle Oeser, with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to a Municipality by a Clerk Award. The letter of nomination included the following observations:

"Michelle works diligently to find new ways to promote the Town on social media, address concerns from the public, and promote activities for the community.  She has single handedly created a means of celebrating the Town's birthday through a "Birthday Movie Bash" and has secured funding and donations for the same.  She is quick to promote activities for the youth in the community.  At the same time, Michelle was able to find funding sources to start the process of developing a Community and Senior Activity Center in the Town of Elizabeth.  While promoting and working on these projects, she never forgets her vitally important role as Clerk and Municipal Court Clerk.  Her staff, led at her direction, form the basis of the operations of the Town of Elizabeth and is an integral part of the Town's success. Were it not for her hard work, Town operations would not be as efficient and unwavering as they are today.  She is always positive, eager to learn, and willing to undertake any challenges that present themselves.  She wants to truly help and guide those in the community.  We could not run this Town without her."

Congratulation to Michelle! We are very proud of the hard work and dedication she provides to the Municipal Clerk position and to the Town of Elizabeth.
