The Town of Elizabeth wants to remind all residents that all public notices are published in the Elbert County News. Planning Commission Agenda's and Minutes.
Request for older Agenda's or Minutes Planning Commission PurposeThe purposes of the Planning Commission are: 1. To develop a Master Plan, for final approval by the Board of Trustees, that addresses land use and related matters for Elizabeth. 2. To develop land use regulations and other programs, for final approval by the Board of Trustees, to implement the Master Plan. 3. To provide recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding Site Plan and Subdivision application presented to the Town. Further information about these purposes can be found in Colorado Revised statutes (CRS) 31.23 and in Elizabeth Town Code, Chapter 2-6 - Planning Commission and Chapter 16 – Land Use and Development. Town code Chapter 2 - Administration and Personnel planning Commission Member RequirementsBy Town ordinance, the Planning Commission includes seven (7) members, each appointed for a four-year term. Members must reside within incorporated Town limits.
